What we do
We publish plain-English guides to the parts of UK betting that marketing tends to skip: licence checks, odds margins, promotional terms, payment rules and safer gambling tools. Our aim is to give readers a repeatable method for judging any betting site rather than a list of names to click.
The site is purely informational. We do not rank bookmakers, we do not publish sponsored reviews, and there are no affiliate links on any page. We are not a gambling operator and we do not take bets.

How we research
Our guides are based on the Gambling Commission's published rules and guidance, the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice, and hands-on testing of the processes we describe, such as searching the public register, reading promotional terms and following withdrawal and verification flows. Worked examples involving odds and expected value are checked by hand by two members of the team.
Rules change, so every page shows a last-updated date and is reviewed at least quarterly, and sooner when regulation changes.
